These are the answers to the most common questions we get asked. If they don't tell what you need to know just drop us a line and we'll happily answer any questions you may have.

Are there any restrictions on numbers of dogs I can bring?

No, there are no restrictions on numbers. If you bring them they are more than welcome; 19 is the record so far!

Can I bring other animals?

Yes, we've had cats, rabbits, parrots, a turtle and rats! However please bear in mind we mainly have sighthounds to stay and they are not always a good mix with small furries! You are responsible for the safety of your pets while at Little Dumpledale Farm.

Are there any restrictions on dates I can book?

Available dates are shown in the availability calendar; from there you can make your booking online. Bookings are for whole weeks which run from 3pm on Saturday afternoon to 10am the following Saturday morning.

Can I book a part week?

Part weeks are sometimes available at short notice and at reduced cost, however these cannot be booked via the website. Please check the front page to find out what is available.

Can I talk to a real person about a potential reservation, or about my booking?

Yes; We – Carol and Trevor – are real people and are very happy to talk to you. Call us on +44(0)1646 601 923 between 9am and 8pm seven days a week, and if we aren't there leave us your name, number and a short message and we'll call you back.

What is included in my stay?

Pretty much everything:

  • For the bedroom, all bed linen, duvets, blankets and pillows are provided.
  • We don't provide an alarm clock (we don't believe in them on holiday smiley). If you have an action packed holiday planned you may wish to bring your own.
  • In the bathrooms, towels are provided
  • Each cottage has a fridge, cooker and washing machine.
  • Unlimited use of the hot tub and outdoor pool, please note the pool is only available May to Sept and is heated by a solar panel.
  • It would be best for the comfort of your pets to bring their own beds, blankets and towels.
  • Dog sitting can be arranged, or we can take your dog for a short walk if you are staying out all day. There is access to fields for free running and plenty of excellent, picturesque walks from right outside your front door. Because we have six dogs ourselves it may not be possible to extend the same service to cats or other animals.

Where are the nearest shops?

Haverfordwest is the main town in the area and has both Safeway and Tesco superstores; both are only 15 minutes drive from the farm. You can find out more about it on the official website where there is useful information on shops, banks, pharmacies, etc.

Is Little Dumpledale Farm difficult to find?

No, the post code is found by all good Sat-Navs and the farm is easy to find on a map. There are links to various mapping services on the Find Us page giving different scale maps and driving directions.
